Quant Scores - Timing

Hey guys,

My GMAT is only a few days away and I have a few queries regarding it. My Verbal score is fine - about 40 to 43 and I'm relatively pleased with that. However my main sticking point is my quant.

I have focussed about 90%+ of my time on quant, but I still can't seem to improve my timing. I think one of my flaws is that I am a bit of a "perfectionist" and I can't seem to be able to"guess" questions. To illustrate: over the last 1 week I have received these test scores:

Veritas CAT's: Q43, Q47 (missing out last 2 questions on each)
GMAT Prep Exam 1: Q37 (Finished all, but really rushed during last 8 questions)
GMAT Prep Exam 2: Q47 (Taken during the same day as Exam 1!)
GMAT Club tests: (Multiple) Ranging from Q39 to Q47 (timed)

My Quant score is all over the place and I'm worried I'm going to get a Q37 as opposed to a Q47 as I don't think I have a strategy in place and optimising my time. I can work out most questions if time isn't an issue, but some just take me a while to set up and then solve.

I've heard that some people just guess some questions that they think might be a bit too time-intensive - is this a viable strategy? What if I guess the "easy" ones wrong and my score then takes a larger hit? How many questions could I get wrong (roughly) and still get Q46+. Basically is there a "guessing" strategy out there?
