Confusing Wordings & Common Traps

Hi All,

I am starting this thread to confusing wording and traps which we should be careful about. I will keep adding more such examples and request you to add as well.

1) "X times Faster than..." vs. "X times as Fast as..."

Example 1:
Pipe A can fill a tank in 32 minutes. Pipe B can fill the same tank 6 times faster than pipe A. If both the pipes are connected to the tank so that they fill the tank simultaneously, how long will it take for the empty tank to overflow?

In this question rate of B = rate of A + 6 * (rate of A)
So, if we just take rate of B = 6* rate of A, we will get the answer wrong.

Kudos, if you think this is a good idea
